Cody Wiseman

marketing manager at Visit Rapid City

After moving around the world as a child, Cody is happy to have roots in Rapid City – a place that he loves. He first settled in Spearfish to earn his degree in Mass Communications at BHSU (with an emphasis on photography) and has since made the Black Hills home.

Cody started his career as a photographer/videographer working for a Spearfish based national campsite booking company where he traveled across the Rocky Mountains gathering content for campgrounds and following the CEO as he pedal-biked more than 5000 miles. What a way to jump into the wonderful world of marketing.

Today, Cody works as Marketing Manager at Visit Rapid City, focusing his time on photography, videography, website management, graphic design and more. He feels so lucky that his job is to market and promote the place that he is proud to call his home.
