About the American Advertising Awards
The ADDY Competition has taken a new name! The competition will now be known nationally as the American Advertising Awards, with the award itself remaining an ADDY. The American Advertising Awards will still have all the excitement and prestige as past years, so be sure to keep an eye out for important dates and details. Its never to early to start planning your entries.
The AAF-Black Hills American Advertising Awards competition is the first of a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The competition is the industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. Entry into the American Advertising Awards supports our entire industry, because AAF and its local and district membership use the proceeds to enhance advertising through programs such as internships, advocacy groups and advertising education.
The AAF’s American Adverting Awards honor creative excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry. Beginning with the 210 AAF member clubs around the country, the AAF conducts 15 district competitions. Those winners proceed to the national finals. Final awards will be celebrated at the national awards show.
