We kicked off the 2013-2014 year right. AAF Black Hills spent an evening with the former Apple creative director and New York Times bestselling author, Ken Segall. Ken worked closely with Steve Jobs, serving as his agency creative director for both NeXT and Apple. From Think Different to iMac and beyond, Ken found that Steve’s love of simplicity was at the for of Apple’s every success.

About Ken Segall:

Ken Segall worked closely with Steve Jobs as his ad agency creative director for over 12 years spanning NeXT and Apple. At TBWA\Chiat\Day, he was a member of the team that created Apple’s iconic Think different campaign; he started Apple down the i-way by naming the iMac; and he co-wrote the first commercial ever to win an Emmy. Having served in a similar role with agencies for Dell, Intel and IBM, Ken is in a unique position to describe how Apple’s love of simplicity sets it apart from other global technology companies. That’s just what he’s done in his New York Times Best Seller, Insanely Simple. Ken’s most recent creative work includes the Ellen DeGeneres campaign for JCPenney that debuted on this year’s Oscars.
