April Luncheon – Brian Rea

Brian Rea

Brian spoke about story telling as it relates to the larger topic of “personal problems.” We all have them however, we tend to hide the unsexy stuff about our lives and our work behind a veil of “awesomeness.” Whether it’s our FB posts, Instagram feeds, even our websites are all set up to display the cherries. He discussed the focus of nearly all the work they do at the studio: the pits. He backed it all up with conversations about storytelling, obsessive compulsive behavior, how he arrived at this unique place of drawing upon uncomfortable moments and maybe show a few case study things to walk folks through his process.
