AAF-Black Hills announces the 2015 American Advertising Award winners

RAPID CITY, S.D. (Feb. 11, 2015) – The American Advertising Federation-Black Hills (AAF-Black Hills) presented its 2015 American Advertising Awards for creative excellence Feb. 6 at the Dahl Arts Center.

Top awards of the evening went to the Best of Show “Tommy Award” winner Jackalope and Judges’ Choice winners were Jackalope and Clark & Company. The People’s Choice award went to Jackalope.

In the Best of Show student division, Black Hills State University (BHSU) student Carly Meyer took runner up and Ellen Pustejovsky, BHSU, won the award.

The AAF-Black Hills American Advertising Awards competition was made possible by AAF-Black Hills’ annual sponsor Midcontinent, Black Hills Badlands & Lakes Tourism Association for design collateral, Simpsons Printing for print collateral and Jackalope for student sponsorship. Proceeds from the awards show help support AAF-Black Hills’ educational programs and public service projects.

Carol Brown of Black Hills Federal Credit Union won the AAF-Black Hills Silver Medal award for lifetime achievement in the advertising field.
