AAF-BH partners with local universities to launch Nov. coat drive


RAPID CITY, S.D. (Nov. 6, 2013) – The American Advertising Federation-Black Hills (AAF-Black Hills) is spreading the warmth this season, partnering with student groups Circle K and the Rotaract Club at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and students at Black Hills State University and the University Center Rapid City to launch its first-ever “Warm Up” Coat Drive.

Kicking off today, Nov. 6, and running through Saturday, Nov. 30, the groups will collect adult- and child-sized coats from the community, both new and gently used, to deliver to those in need on the Pine Ridge reservation

Rapid City collection points will be at the Surbeck Center on the School of Mines campus, 501 E. St. Joseph St.; Simpsons Printing, 2410 South Plaza Drive; Gunderson, Palmer, Nelson, & Ashmore, LLP, 506 Sixth Street, and the University Center Rapid City, 4300 Cheyenne Blvd. The Spearfish collection point will be at Black Hills State University, 1200 University Blvd.
